The MFH welcomes new visitors and subscribers. If you would like to follow on horse or on foot you should contact the Hon Secretary, Poppy Martin (poppy@fennycastle.co.uk), who will advise you which day might suit you, where the meet is, where to park and how much the cap is.

In regards to costs; we have a number of options available, depending on whether you are a visitor or would like to become a subscriber.

Meets on Opening Meet and thereafter are held at 10.45am unless stated otherwise.

For information on delayed or cancelled meets due to frost or other weather conditions, please phone the Honorary Secretary after 9.00 am on the day of the meet.

Any person who falls from their horse whilst hunting is asked to make a donation of £5 per fall to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. This money is to be given to Sally Laurie or the Honorary Secretary.

All those who go out hunting, should in their best interests, be insured against third party liability. We also ask that all mounted and foot followers are members of the Countryside Alliance.

Please be aware that following the passing of the 2004 Hunting Act. The Mendip Farmers Hunt continues to hunt legally with the good grace and kindness of our many landowners, farmers and tenants.
